May 8-11 - Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers present Happy Days Are Here Again, at the Theatre Orangeville Town Hall Opera House. Tickets $15 adults; $12 youth (age 12 and under). For tickets and more info, call 1-800-424-1295 or visit www.theatreorangeville.ca.

Friday, May 9 – The Caledon Seniors Centre Players present their Third Annual Review “To Make a Living”, 7 pm, at 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton. A riotous presentation making fun of all occupations. Tickets $10/person. Refreshments served. Call 905-951-6114.

May 9 & 10 - The Caledon Townhall Players in Caledon Village present “Enchanted April”, a light-hearted, romantic comedy. Saturday, May 10 – Teen Ranch Open House, 10-3 pm, at 20682 Hurontario St, Caledon, just S of Orangeville. Free activities, trail rides, giant swing, ice skating, boating, and $5/barbecue lunch. Call 519-941-4501 or email info@teenranch.on.ca

Saturday, May 10 – Bazaar and Lawn Sale, 8am-2pm, at Alton United Church (1532 Queen St, Alton). Childrens Penny Auction, treats, silent auction, Mothers Day gifts, clothing, jewellery, bake table, furniture, appliances and lawn sale items.

Saturday, May 10 – Annual Yard Sale hosted by Bolton Alliance Church, 8am-1pm, at the Caledon Seniors Centre (7 Rotarian Way, Bolton, behind the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness). All proceeds going to Caledon Community Services’ Kidz to Kamp program. 

May 10 & 11 – Palgrave United Church (34 Pine Ave) Silent Auction open to the public on Saturday (8am-12noon) and Sunday (12noon-4pm) for bidding. Auction ends May 11th at 4:00pm.  The auction includes antiques, collectibles, jewellery, lighting, china. Call 905-880-0303. 

Sunday, May 11 – The Caledon Concert Band presents its Spring Concert, 2-4 pm, at Christ Church (Nancy St, Bolton). Come and celebrate Mothers Day. Tickets adults $10; students & seniors $8; Children 12yrs & under free. For more info, call 905-495-0145 or 905-857-7629.

Tuesday, May 13 - Meeting of the Peel North Branch of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario, 10:15 am, North Bramalea United Church (363 Howden Blvd). Installation of Officers, Memorial Service, and Speaker on “Personal Emergency Preparedness”. RSVP to Karin 905-796-2146. 

Tuesday, May 13 - MS Self Help Group meets 7-9 pm, at Christ Church Anglican (22 Nancy St, Bolton). Support group for those dealing with multiple sclerosis. Location is fully wheelchair accessible. Call Dorothy 905-880-0969. 

Tuesday, May 13 - Meeting of the Orangeville & District Horticultural Society, 7:30 pm, at the Orangeville Seniors Centre (26 Bythia St). Topic: “Healthy Gardening – A Naturopathic Perspective”. Refreshments. Visitors welcome. 

Wednesday, May 14 – Hospice Caledon’s Journey’s Day Program meets every Wednesday, 1-3 pm, at Christ Church (22 Nancy St, Bolton). This group is for anyone facing a life-challenging illness. Offers information, support and companionship in a caring, confidential setting. Call Hospice Caledon 905-951-3534. 

Wednesday, May 14 - The Old Time Fiddlers meet 6:30-11 pm, in the Albion Bolton Community Centre. Everyone welcome to come out and enjoy the music. $2/person. Call Scotty 905-451-8057. 

Thursday, May 15 - The Bolton North Hill Residents Association (BNHRA) hosts a “North Hill Community Information Meeting”, 7-9 pm, in the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness Issues of concern to North Hill residents, will be presented. Friday, May 16 - Caledon Meals on Wheels offers a Gentle Fitness Program for Seniors each Friday, 10-11 am, at St. James Church Senior’s Drop-In, Caledon East. This program helps increase muscle strength, flexibility & mobility. Call 905-857-7651 or 905-584-2992.

Friday, May 23 – Perfect Pairing: A Caledon Dinner and Wine Experience, 6:30 pm cocktails; 7:30 pm dinner, at Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club (Hwy 50, N of Bolton). Monday, May 26 - Meeting of the Caledon F.A.M.E. Family Support Group, 7-9 pm, in the Albion Bolton Community Centre, (Caledon Parent-Child Centre, 150 Queen St S, Bolton).
