The LINC Program comes to Caledon Community Services and Caledon!

The LINC Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada is a program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada that offers free language training for newcomers to Canada.  The purpose of LINC is to help students become participating members of Canadian society by developing essential language skills.

Classes are open to anyone who is an adult immigrant, 18 years of age and over, who are Landed Immigrants or Convention Refugees.

Levels 1 through 5 are offered on a part-time basis. Day and evening classes are available.

Levels 1, 2, 3 are offered during the day:

Mondays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Fridays 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Levels 3, 4, 5 are offered in the evening:

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Before you can be placed into LINC classes at Caledon Community Services, your language levels must be assessed to determine the appropriate class you should attend.
